do I have to do everything for yall? Just do a search on youtube for Deadmau5. He has his own channel. Also he posted his gear list on the Ableton forum. oh, I guess I have to put a link to that also or else I "mega failed".

i was talking about the, Faxing berlin, Not Exactly type bass... i would be more interested how he does his plucked sounds that gives the flavour to the songs.which song are you talking about?

I'm pretty sure that square wave bass was made on his Nord Lead 3. He also used some vengeance samples as well. I was also able to replicate the upward note scale synth heard later on in the song on Arturia Minimoog.

The main synth sound in Faxing Berlin, and a few of his other songs is called Strobe by FXpansion, coming out soon as part of the D-CAM: Synth Squad, check the latest Future Music for more details. Part of the sound is also a compressor sidechained off the kick / drums, this is coming out soon from Cytomic.
I'm trying to be factual in my statements, but please be aware that there is huge bias in my post since I wrote all the DSP for the synths and the compressor I'm talking about.
