imo box.net kicks ass, and now they have download count on the free setup, so it seems to me to be the best site out there for alt. dl links.

how about a new link?

Jim
I've included a new link on the website. :)
Clicking the Driveway download link:
You have utilized the download limit for the day.
And what's wrong with MediaFire - quick, easy, no popups...?
Hihi, it's really hard to find a good file host with unlimited bandwidth, so media fire will have to do. Those who have problems downloading it from there just email me. :)

Go for it I'd say as you seem to have a pretty clear idea about what it should be :D

And thanks for this one btw :)
Alright I'll play with the idea, yer welcome. :)

Oh...and BTW...Thanks for the plug! :D

It really does some wonderful things (like the stereo separation by frequency band).

That's why I noted above that the stereo effect does not work on mono signals. If you use it on mono you will get a chorus doubling effect as optomadic pointed out too. The stereo widening effect is meant to emphasize the width of a stereo signal, which involves a little delay. Try it on a stereo signal and tell me what you think. :) The design of that stereo effect is patterned after Ozone 3, though I don't have the width control there. :)

Noted, but let's say it is used on stereo signals or mixes which is played on in mono 4 compatibility purposes, will that effect b heard....for example, in clubs, etc...

Ooh, if you convert that stereo to mono, the doubling will be heard. In which case I suggest you use a stereo imaging plug to widen the sound, instead of the stereo effect in EQ One.

So thanks to kriminal, who uploaded a copy on his box.net account, I've added a new download link.

Thanx, That's what i thought...... :)

no prob. So to everyone, remember it's a stereo 'effect'. it only emphasizes whatever width is present in a stereo signal.

A common type of stereo imaging plug is the one that reduces the level of signals that are present in both left and right channels. You can try using a vocal removal plugin to remove the center, and then add that to the original signal to emphasize the width. :)
