You might find 'Architecture Universal Waveforms' from http://galbanum.com/ of interest. They are alos available in Metasynth format and Absynth (.gly) format in addition to (.wav) format. I recall favorable comments on the Absynth mailing list when they were first released. I've not tried them myself, but have been enjoying the demoes from the Abstraction sample packs lately. Hope this helps.

I got a bunch of single cycle wave partials for you. Here you go 2000+ Wave Partials all in .wav format. Perfect for Kontakt, Rapture, Dimension Pro and any other Synth/Sampler that can load .wav files. Enjoy! Happy Holidays!

The Architecture Absynth waves will not load in Kontakt; you'll need to crossgrade to the .wav version.strav100 wrote:Cor! That's great,![]()

You can actually load soundfonts and even any generic wave file into kontakt!
For soundfonts, check out www.hammersound.net and www.soundfonts.it .
For wave files, take a look at www.freesound.org .
The best way to deal with wav files is to create a new instrument, click on the settings button, and go to "mapping editor". From there, drag the files into zones on the keyboard and voila.
To make looped soundfont instruments single cycle, just use the wave editor. Kontakt is very unstable on its own, so you're better off using it as a plugin even though you can't open a seperate window.

You might also try Rndwave! to generate and preview random single-cycle waves.
