i think last time you couldn't submit something already released - and had to be private beta
also it couldn't be like a "lite" version of something else
dunno if you can nominate somebody - they kinda have to submit on their own, plus if it's already out, then no
but honestly i don't see what's taking them so long, just lazy i guess-
patients wearing thin,...imo kvr is missing out on a ton of publicity and popularity
maybe we should form a union and march over to the kvr people's houses with pitchforks and torches demanding our dc09

OK, maybe an upcoming SM thing can be a part of it. It was talked about up to 3 years ago releasing it for a DC. I'll look into it.

Long live...

Seriously though, someone mentioned the possibility of KVR members chipping in say ten bucks to a prize fund in return for access to all submitted plugs (to provide an incentive to devs that didn't want to submit freeware).
Obviously there would have to be some kind of poll to see how much support there was in the community for this and we'd have to trust that all the people who voted positively would be true to their word when the time came to pony up. Ideally there would have to be some kind of automated thinger so that all those who paid get their download link when the time came - it could be a chore if someone had to do it manually. And the DC would have to be defo under way before monies were paid.
Still, it could work. Mebbe. I'd be willing to paypal $10 (and you can hold me to that!).

The beta is up at SM's registered users forum, and it is done by a collective. Should I talk to tuz?

i'm sure i'll have even less free time this year, but i'm going to try to enter something anyway, even if it is the worst software ever created. just waiting see what the rules are before i make any real decisions.
