Warp69 wrote:You're missing my point - I was trying to demonstrate what I meant by Spaciousness - the preset used for that could easily be more artifacts free, since I could increase "Diffusion" and decrease "Definition". The frequency response and length are also different, but that's still not my point - I didn't matched any parameters, except Size - because it obviously has relation to spatial impression.

Oops - forgot to mention the unit : It's an old Lex224XL.
What do you mean by spaciousness? What I do hear is a drift to the left which I dislike. Do you mean that it's a little broader? That's easily achieved in epicVerb.

What?

to the EV testers here: please respect that EV is still in beta.
If you would like to do any comparisions and talk in public then please do it not yet but with a final and released version.
ok?

Well - that would be very nice - as I wrote before, it could easily be a setting - but none of the posted examples have spaciousness and by spaciousness I mean that the reverb surrounds you - like http://www.quantec.de/audio/2496_1E2_sm ... _brass.wav (starts at 00:09).

No............ It's all about knowledge and good ears. Unfortunately you cant design an awesome reverb in 4-7 months - it takes years - Bricasti M7 have a single algorithm and it took 3 years to develop that one. How many VST developers use 3 years (fulltime) to create a plugin?? Not many.

Ah, now I understand better what you mean. The Quantec example is good while the music is playing. The fade out of the tail sounds artificial though.
To respect Bootsie's beta testing rules I won't say anything about epicVerb until released. Sorry Bootsie.

You know, if he doesn't come, Kwanzaa's celebrated after Christmas to Jan 1st, so there's still hope. (Yes, I had to look it up)

I wish he'd hurry, doesn't he know we all just sit here on the forums waiting for news. Anyone, anyone? Oh, it's just me doing that...

Yes it was. Santa asked for a bailout, but after being busted last year in the toxic toy scandal, his request was denied.
