Ok well SWAN808 will no doubt happily do it :)

Nice one, i wasn't aware of that (and i dont know who deadmau5 is really apart from some generic dance music *to my ears* and for no dance music makers the title of the thread might put them off (i will myself look at anything but others might not :) - i live and breath metal fwiw so that goes someway to explaining why i dont know much about dance music. A good compressor is a good compressor regardless of genre though in my book )

Thanks for putting me right poonna

thank you!

i'm lucky, as i work with some very talented artists, so i tend to get painted with the same brush :hihi:

back on topic,

did any one else notice what this comp did to the fade out on the deadly hunta vocal?

:o

The dry and wet are both normalised to -0.5 dB.

Hey

Very busy examples, great! Thanks for taking your time to make them :)

Its always very hard to compress a piano with such a long release without destroying the sound. I usually run to UAD's 88RS when dealing with such sounds as its rather easy to restrain from pumping too much.

Ok, i notice the "i still bumped" seems to give an extreme spike which will ruin the peak normalizing. But of course, its a part of a compressors job to eliminate such.

Talented artists stuck with a bad producer doesn't give good results :)
(untalented people with a talented producer gives better results hehe)

I suppose that was a hint hehe. I can't say what it is on standing foot, though (thats hard to do). Sounds pretty funny, i suppose you do a lot of filter manipulation?

Thanks for these Nekro, but I didn't process all of these since some of them were already badly compressed and so had wobbling artifacts in them. I processed the ones with the most dynamic range still in them:

If anyone has more dry piano loops they want compressed then please post them through please: info atsign cytomic dotsign com
