I had a good year in music and wanted to compile some of what I put out there.
A La Kart 1 came out last new years eve (featuring Justin 3am. Polyslax, 22tape, and myself).
A La Kart 2 came out later in the spring... (featuring the above players with Blortblort as a welcome addition to the line up) IMO, my best work to date is on that CD.

Here are some of my other works from 2008 in no particular order for listening and download. Consider this a "best of 2008" CD of mine. You can rip em all right here. Please enjoy (or be annoyed)! :)

*= I should be fair and point out that these songs are tracks I was a guest on vocally, not songs I actually wrote.

...and a lot more to come this year already!

I'm thankful for the friendships I have made here at KVR and the things I have learned from the many peeps on this board who are far more talented and more knowledgeable than I. Thank you to all of you.

Happiest New Year!
Peace and be safe,
Jazzy

p.s. now I gotta work on a NY resolution that will stick....off to party!

Good idea to put your stuff out here like this Jazzy. Impressive list too!

Will sift through it soon.

Wish you, and all readers of this, a very happy New Year that hopefully will bring us a load of new music and inspiring experiments.

Kind regards! Slug

Thanks so much Jazzyspoon, I think the length is much more than a CD but it's all top quality so far, so the longer the better :D
I played something to my friends, last night at home and they enjoyed that

My best wishes for Great 2009

Cheers

Thanks, fellas. My head is spinning a little this morning, but it was all worth it.
Laguna, yeah, it's way over CD length, but most people listen to ipods and the like anyways. So the 78 min length barrier isn't a problem for most music listeners.
Core, you are one of my music heroes of the year, so thanks for chiming in and listening.
You guys are all awesome for listening and commenting actually. Thanks, you made my year.

Now, I must go consume heroic amounts of coffee as I have a recording session in a couple of hours.
thanks, again. :)

As I missed quite a few weeks at KVR in 2008 (for me 2008 was really a bad year) it's much appreciated that you list songs here - will listen to all of them during the next days :). A happy 2009!!

Post

Awesome! Hats off to you Jazzy for all your great work in 2008.

Looking forward to your 2009 output and hopefully working with you at some point this year.

Happy New Year!

thanks much for posting this, i'll be going through these in the days to come.

Hi guys and happy new year to you, as well.
Ironically, it took me about as long as it would to write a new song to make this "comprehensive 2008" (music tracker hog) post. :hihi: I'm sure I missed some tracks, but I can't figure out which.
My resolution is to leave more time for music at the end of the day......
or start getting up earlier and jamming like Polyslax.

Wow. You're a productive fella, eh? I think I managed about 1 1/2 tracks last year (two daughters, a wife and job kinda take precedence over the SDZH music catalog though... )

I am going to pick three tracks at random from your extensive list and give 'em a spin.

I'd like to take the opportunity to thank you for taking the time to listen and comment on the stuff I posted in the cafe during the last 12 months.

Back later... :D

Post

Thanks, Ian. Man, I totally understand the priorities. For the same reasons, my productivity has actually receded this winter (minus the 2 daughters - not that far along yet) :)
I will be interested in what 3 random tracks the roulette wheel will give you....

this post took too long to type to not bump it once or twice. :)
