Hi!

Sylenth1 is my next acquisition.

One thing I noticed with the demo, though:

I loaded sylenth1 into forte, nothing else in it, this is the memory usage right after that:

Then I opened and closed sylenth's gui 10 times, and looked again into the ram usage:

I thought I should mention this.

Confirmed with latest ver of Sylenth1 in Cubase SX3.

Closing and re-opening the Sylenth1 GUI a few times increases the memory usage each time.

Happens in FL Studio 8 as well

Exiting FL + reloading the project with Sylenth1 is a workaround for this problem..

Tested it too and same here for FL8 and C4. Well nowdays i dont care much about memory usage but that should be fixed

Cool, thanks. I'm really on the edge when it comes to RAM ( 2Gb, usually 1.6/1.7Gb occupied ).

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

So THAT'S why I keep running out of RAM on my projects...... I've been wondering why my projects keep hitting the 2GB barrier recently. It only started happening in the last month or so, so it does explain it.

Confirmed here with Cubase 4

yes,i am having my mouse suddenly slowing down in cubase Studio 4 latest version.I guess this is related to Sylenth then.But the good news is that Sylenth sounds fantastic and uses less cpu .
Hope this issue gets sorted.

I have been using Sylenth1 since the group buy and I think this is a fantastic VA synth, I regarded it now as a very important synth for me as far as being able to produce the sounds I was looking for. Anyway since getting this synth I have just be learning it and auditioning sounds and tweaking patches, I have started to produce projects with Sylenth1 and saving them to reload later on FL Stuido, I get an increase in CPU on ever synth sometimes double, in addition to this when "resting" I get maybe a 5-6% CPU on a synth then it will spike into the 20-50%, when running several synths in a project it chokes, I don't know anything about coding, so I was wondering would this be a bug and will or is this something you are aware of and hopefully working on an update in the future, I really don't want to get a new DAW, thank you for reading.
