some more : i am really liking it so far... Many laid-back moods, with smart ideas and some great production tricks and processes. I am also digging the trans-genre exploration, through idm/dub/plunderphonics/neo80s/synthronica...
I wish i too could finish every track i begin !

Thanks, poly. That track really pokes people in the eye and they seem to respond well to it.
@sink, wow - thanks for listening through some of them. I'm all about the hybrids, though I will occasionally try something genre specific to see if I can do it.(mostly, I fail, but the result is occasionally interesting) Plunderphonics - I love that term...must google it.
Honestly, none of these tracks were ever "finished", they just reach a point where I am tired of listening to them over and over again. If I was signed tomorrow, I probably would still re-do/mix most of these. My A La Kart 2 submissions are more closely brought to the finish line than most of the tracks posted here.
Perfectionism blows, the paint layers thicken, and nothing ever feels done; but I still think its always worth sharing with someone on the off chance they might enjoy it.

It really was a good year, for a lot of people's music. I'm burning these tracks to a CD so I can listen on my way to work.

Well I opened some at random, first being 'The emptiest spaces' and I love it. Has a lot of feel too it very lively, this is something I will definately listen to again. it has all the types of sounds I like to hear in there. So now i'll get to listening to some others.

Man, it is so uplifting knowing there are folks who are more entertained by this mess than annoyed by it.
Thanks for listening, dan_s. I hope there is more for you to find in that pile.
Ugo......where is the damn blush icon...

Glad you are enjoying the tracks as much I enjoy using your gear to make them.

I agree, your 2008 post is a smokin hot collection. Now if Poly did one, it would take 3 pages just for the initial post.justin3am wrote:It really was a good year, for a lot of people's music. I'm burning these tracks to a CD so I can listen on my way to work.
