Is it going to be a presets collection for AT2, or just amps/cabs? If it's just a preset collection that'd be hugely disappointing considering how much of an impact the guitar has on the tone. In fact, when I make AT2 presets I list both the guitar and pickup they were created with and folder them for future references.

Maybe it's something like Realstrat or Realguitar that's bundled with some variation of AT2. That would a be a shocker!

I know what it will be........a new digital device for keeping up with all of ik's group buys and bundle deals. Well, at least it would sit on the desktop........oh, and for the "sound" it could have that stupid ringtone that sounds like an old school phone through a cell phone speaker........

I would like to see some updates to all the "Powered by SampleTank" stuff. The general loading times are still too slow and I get hung notes all the time (requiring me to lower the polyphony to make it stop..) Happened on two entirely different systems too..

Better have a good Blender in it.

You guys may "think" you've guessed but the product I was referring to has not been mentioned yet in this thread. There's no contest or anything but if you can guess then mad props to you! I will hint that not only is it legendary but it is also very practical! Like I said, I'd use it! I know a LOT of people that would! It's very clever. Hmmmm. (Squids love to tease)
I'd tease about Sonic Reality products but we've practically told you guys all of our surprises. I do have a couple though but I'll save that talk for another thread. This one is for your IK Multimedia mystery NAMM thread which we do each year. No poll this time though. Feel free to guess!
Also, the gearslutz link may have been misleading I think. Although the idea of more expansion for the AT range is certainly one that I've been pushing for. There are so many more cool things to model! I've got my gear wish list. Sure there's a few packages already but that's a GOOD thing! More models = more sounds and I am 110% for that!!!!! You know I kept saying how cool AmpliTube was that it had a nice Univibe model and that a real Univibe sells for $1,200. Try $2,200! I've been trying to pick one up on ebay and it looks like $1,200 would be a steal! Granted at least I have it in software and I also have a Dejavibe which is pretty good (I've never abandoned the hardware analog pieces - but it is great to have both!).
That said, I never said there would be any new guitar models announced at NAMM. More will be revealed so I guess we'll find out soon enough! NAMM is not that far away.
I can tell you what it definitely isn't though. It isn't a Flibberty Flagilistic Flanigan as Hibidy was hinting at.

Most influential sounds of our time......
Squids already presented all kinds of vintage goodies and he's gave us the StudioPhonik sounds. All that's missing from IK and Squids collection is a more detailed B3 emulation and some REALISTIC brass sounds.

To my hears, even if it's not exactly his sound, the music in the teaser has kind of bonhamesque drums...
A dedicated drumstation by IK ?

will they have the Amplitube series installers for Receptor by NAMM? I know I'll want that and T-Racks3 now that I think about it on mine as soon as it arrives.
