No, it's just to confuse people :hihi:

minor UI FR: can you make it so we can click directly on the LEDs of the reverb algorithm types without having to cycle through them with the up/down buttons?

was requested before but I'm not convinced yet ...
concerning the spikes: Is that only when the sequencer is running or when it's stopped as well?

I'd +2 that one. It would definitely speed things up a bit. It's one of those things where it's not a huge deal, but it's how I expected it to work at first. Having that would make EV just a tiny but more intuitive and user friendly.

I had reported this same behavior during beta testing.

It's when the sequencer is running. BUT........and that's a very big but, as I've previously written, my machine freezes for several seconds (whether sequencer is running or not) when switching between presets. Once a preset is loaded, all is well again. But I do have to stop the sequencer in order to load the presets, period! Otherwise, I get the spikes and temporary freezing. I work on Cubendo using an AMD Opteron 246 2GHz.

Yeah, I know.....it's time to upgrade but I get a huge track count on this old boy. :)

+3

Fantastic reverb plugin though! Thanks Bootsy!
Still have the annoying GUI bug as with all your other plugs though :(

I am using Cubase SX3.1 and in busy projects the GUI disappears. I know I've mentioned this loads of times but have yet found what the problem is.

Just a question, does epicVerb require a CPU that has SSE2? Because it appears to crash Cantabile whenever I load it, and any sound device is loaded. (Otherwise I can manage to see the GUI in silence)

Yes, I agree. I think bootsy must've forgotten to implement a means for donating, with all this excitement!

I'm guessing that is the case (although I have no confirmation) because it won't run in any host I have. AMD2000XP
Intel Core i7 8700K, 16gb, Windows 10 Pro, Focusrite Scarlet 6i6

hello bootsy,

thanks for the wonderful reverb, the quality is amazing, up there with the best convolution reverbs, but different and more flexible.

there's one slight issue that i feel would really improve the experience if solved - the reverb doesn't seem to be able to work with true stereo signals; whether i send a (hard)-panned signal or a centered signal to it, the wet signal coming out of it is always centered. this indeed limits many of the possible creative uses of the reverb. does the algorithm mono any signal prior to processing it? when listening to the wet signal alone and moving the pan of the signal fed to it on the fly, i did notice changes in the reverberation, but not in the panning. or have i missed a control or some switch that's dealing with this?

thank you.
