I was wondering if there was a site that has chord progressions for lots of random music on it? and when i say chord progressions, i mean written so a retarded person could figure it out. either pictures of the piano and the notes highlighted, or something like this

Chord 1 - A, D, F

Chord 2 - B, E, G

Chord 3 - A, G, E

basically I just want some jazzy/funky chord progressions, and I think if i stole the same chord progression as some random jazz tune from 10 years ago, that nobody would really notice anyway. I usually sample stuff in the first place, so this would be kind of a step up from that i suppose

Also try MoneyChords at:

http://www.angelfire.com/fl4/moneychords.

He has lots and lots of progressions. He not only lists the progressions, but he explains how and why each one works.

This site will NOT have the chords written out. It assumes you know the difference between a sus4 and a major 7 chord.

It's a 'chord map' for major keys and it works deliciously for writing pop tunes with more than the standard I IV V chords.

If you spend some time on the rest of the site, you'll find out how to interpret the map - but this particular page is golden for those that already have their chord theory down, but get stuck in a chord progression rut.
