I'm gonna guess it's a new drum machine, type sample/loop player, with some effects.

Would be a nice package guitar-wise, I'd rather just invest in a nice amp sim like Revalver MkIII or Overloud TH1 to be sure, but I won't be investing in any real guitars any time soonMokafix wrote:A guitar with amplitube integrated like Gibson did with guitar rig?
I had a look at Pianoteq and Truepianos and I think I'd like to see something along the lines of Truepianos but instead of the Diamond/Sapphire/Amber/Emerald module paradigm, the modules could be Bosendorfer Imperial 290, Steinway D, Fazioli and maybe a Yamaha C7 or Bechstein - "Truepianos on steroids" for want of better words. And 88 keys aren't quite enough, as a Bosendorfer 290 has 97 keys (which extend downwards giving 9 extra bass keys with some serious low end bang that an 88 key grand just can't deliver).
Good things are coming along, but even still the best virtual pianos (the ones that are truly playable and only take up a small amount of hard disk space) need some more work to really beat something like EWQL Pianos or Ivory in terms of tonal quality and thunderous low end.
Looking forward to everything good that comes, 2009 and 2010 should be golden years for budding musicians.

I tend to agree. I'm thinking It's SampleTank 3.0 that samples which could be 1 product. You did say 3?harmony gardens wrote:I'm gonna guess it's a new drum machine, type sample/loop player, with some effects.
Another product, "Be the first to learn what world's most influential sounds will soon be coming to your desktop". To me, they already did a guitar and bass. They don't have a super mega PIANO or a HAMMOND B3 ORGAN. My long shot guess would some sort of Super Drummer but that wouldn't make sense with all the drum sounds from ESoundz in an already overcrowded field of drums. The hint with "something in the home" hmmm....I can think of TV, Internet, Computer, heat, electric, phone, toilet(LOL!)Lightpipe

Say goodbye to mixing with a mouse and squinting at a monitor! It's the Virtual Reality Studio Controller. The jacks aren't for input/output, they're for the glasses and gloves. The USB is to send the control signals to your computer.
When you plug it in, the software analyzes all available controls on your DAW and plugins, then creates a 3D virtual control room. Put on the glasses and you'll see your virtual console ahead of you, and to the sides are your racks of effects. When you put on the gloves and reach out your hands, you will actually feel like you're touching pieces of hardware. Instead of grabbing your mouse to adjust a parameter, just "grab" the control you want to change - actually turn the knob or move the fader. You can customize your visual layout to suit your workflow - unused plugins can be left in the virtual equpment locker which is easily accessible. If you prefer, any plugin can be configured to be part of your virtual console - so if you have something like Waves API EQ plugins, they'll be on the console, not in a rack.
Available soon will be "The Analog Experience" upgrade for VRSC. This upgrade creates a virtual patchbay for your virtual console. Need to plug in a compressor? "Grab" some cables and patch it in. There's a virtual tape machine that you can punch buttons on - or configure a remote control. You can even rock the reels and do your editing with a virtual razor blade! If you have a tape simulator plugin you can enter the expert mode which allows you to "align" your virtual tape machine using the available paramters of your plugin.
