I've just made a few patches with multisamples (c 1-6 mapped out) but when i play them after about a few notes i get a processing error and FL freezes.
what am i doing wrong,or what steps can i take to get things working here.
the size of the patches are a little over 5mb. is that where the problem begins?

From looking at the patch in some detail, it seems to me that it has become hopelessly corrupted. The patch is supposed to contain 12 samples, but it only contains six. Those six samples are flagged as being stereo, but the right channels are all missing!!
I can't say with any confidence how this bug could have happened without following the exact steps that you took to build the file. It would certainly seem like there's a serious bug in the stereo sample handling code, and we'll take it to bits and see what we can find. I would imagine that if you stick to mono samples, the problem is unlikely to manifest.
