A good buss compressor is the one compressor missing on UAD IMO - the Neve is too specialist

Thats why Im so looking forward to this one...

Andy - will the D-CAM synth squad be released this first quarter also?

Yes I didnt make that clear - I was agreeing with you Re: The PBC - I bought it in a sale and dont like it either. I went on to add that the Neve is also too specialist...

Ah. So I'm not insane!

I also didn't like the Precision Limiter very much, but I loved the Enhancer and De-esser. Actually, I've gotten some cool, overprocessed drum buss sounds with the PBC, so I may be using it more for instrument compression than anything else.

You can't resell UAD plugins, can you?

Oh crap! I haven't tried the VU yet! For some reason, I thought it was UAD-1 only!!

I've been dying to try it based on your recommendations alone! ***pressing "START DEMO" now...***

I'm glad you can sell them, that's good news. My friend talked me into getting Dreamverb, but I think I'm happy with Plate and RealVerb Pro, plus my VST verbs. Might sell that and get the LA-3A...I get the feeling that VU is as good as bought!

you can only sell ALL the plugs or NONE of the plugs

That is the bad part, the good part is if you are done with music you can sell them, but only along with a card.

I know you will love the VU. I'm serious!!! for over the top drum full buss drum compression it is insane.

I tried the VU for less then 5 minutes and bought it

Thats a point where we are completely opposite. Its the best limiter i've tried, for exception of the Sonnox. Something like the renowed Waves L2 i find horrible, on the other hand.

Thanks! Hopefully my comp will be able to meet your high standards. Being native as well should help since you have no added latency or extra bus traffic caused by having to copy audio down over the bus and back again to be processed. That being said it is very good copy protection since you have to have the hardware to run the plugins, not sure what else it is good for in the days of oct core massively fast cpus.

Actually, I do need a good buss compressor. I have the UAD one, but it keeps disappointing me; I may have rushed to buy it, should've waited on this one. I love the Waves SSL Buss Comp, but well, $800 is too much, even for the new Bling-duffy!

Well, this one here is reasonably priced. If it does in my hands what I heard in those examples then I want one, too. This price should help.
