And I think bundling it in Cubase would be a killer idea. Sorry to hear they don't have the instrument rack in LE!

I'm not sure they need to rival the scripting. Although a genius move would be to make HALion be able to read KT Scripts! That could help migrate some people. BUt I think they would be better off to make it easy and accesible to writers and tweakers alike. And maybe get rid of the 2001 HAL-ball thing.

I'll just wait how much feature-loss is going to go along with the release (compared to C4, intentional or not).
Looks good so far though. Especially the pitch-correction.

Do you think I am a Cubase hater? Then you fail.
I own Cubase and I had waited for the news about C5 and planned to upgrade to it, but from these infos this update seems the crappiest ever. I see nothing invention, nothing revolutionary, just rip-off. They're exactly monkeying Cakewalk and co.
In the past they [Steinberg] dictated, and invented new things, now only follow others on the path of commercial useless crap.

First off, we don't have all of the details. So don't get yourself all upset. I would just wait to see what the details are about the new enhancements.
