make  not :box:

Edit, and seriously just remember this is the Sonic Reality forum not IK's official forum and maybe a more broad discussion of the perceived benefits or shortcomings of this would be better served in a non-vendor part of KVR? Just a suggestion :) Squids & Co are a great IK dealer, and I'd hate to see them get flak for it or jeopardize the great forthcoming deals I'm sure we'll see if there is a lot of IK fighting here.
Yeah, we have to keep it somewhat tame in THIS thread but there are open places on the KVR forum to say whatever you want without us being attached to it. We just wanted to make it fun to provide the info... and no I am not mad at anyone here for posting it. I don't blame you! Hey, if its on the net it's on the net. Anyone can see it. The fact that it wasn't supposed to be on the net until tomorrow? Well, what can you do? I'm amazed. Like I said, I only control what my company does, Sonic Reality. I've chosen not to even send my press releases out at all because we don't want anything announced any earlier than when we want. We might risk some places posting it on Monday or Tuesday but it's better than something like THIS happening.

Although, it's all good really. Kind of fun. I was going to tell you all tonight early anyway but they freakin' spoiled my surprise! Haha. Was a good thread though huh? I had to divert your attention to the rather OBVIOUS things that made people think it was AT Fender. I couldn't do much of a surprise there but the Stealth Pedal... that's a cool one. I mean REALLY cool! I love it. So handy and it works and sounds great! It sounds better than most audio cards under $500. Beefy. You can plug-in additional expression pedals too and you can even use it as a midi expression pedal for SampleTank. It's a really useful gadget for sure.

Sorry no ST3 yet. But don't worry. More things coming this year. Not EVERYTHING is announced at NAMM!

Can you use the Stealth Pedal as a pure controller only even with the AT products? As in, guitar into an input on my interface (or Receptor's guitar input) and feed audio into AT product of choice normally yet still control said AT product with the pedal and chained expression pedal / switches? Might make for a good product for me in that respect if that's possible, and also double as a nice interface on the go when I don't have my rackmount interface with me - just the laptop.

for me it could be just the ticket. It's all about the latency.....if the latency is low, I've got interest. It's a good way to control at products w/o the size of the stomp i/o.

But I've probably got more interest in the fender at.

this might be nice. I've been after a "super reverb" sound for a long time. The only thing I've found comes close is the real thing.

(while I don't see it mentioned) Maybe they'll do it with this (sound close that is), I just hope they got the spring reverb to sound good. I've have yet to hear a good modeled spring reverb, so I still keep my reissue tube reverb around: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/63TubeRevBT

I'll be waiting for the reviews :-)

FFS! Just when I was two software products away from the whole set!!.... ;) joke..
..pedal looks cool..like buscemi asked I'm curious to know if it can just be used as a controller, I would only use the interface with my laptop..

I remember speaking to an IKMM product manager on the phone during a sales call a few months ago, and I suggested that IK make a simple wah controller with no other bells and whistles to be priced at around $100. He said I'd be very happy with what they have in the works. And here we are...

I wish it didn't have the interface (I don't get why no one can make a controller without building an interface into it anymore) and list price were a bit less, but hopefully this will end up retailing at a good price.

Perhaps IK will be calling existing customers again to try and get more sales. I'd certainly consider picking Stealthpedal up with the Amplitube Fender offering if I could get both a good price (hint, hint).

A Stealth pedal?
Doesn't that make "Coming Soon To Your Desktop" a tad misleading?
Who stands on their desk?

Well it is a "Stealth" pedal, so even though its for the desktop it needs to go under the desk to activate Stealth mode... :hihi:

I think you guys may have missed the second link on the previous page, which shows an announcement for a new IK plug-in focused on Fender Amplifier simulations.

That'll be on my desktop as soon as it is included in a Group Buy! :-)

If it was an Apple product, it would be called iFender.
Somewhere in the background zedd
