re: generating lists of directory contents, er, 'recursively' ( is that the
correct term?..), as text files..bla bla bla..
printdir or printfolder(?): onr of these seems to offer a bit of help, letting
you copy folder listing one at a time...anyone got anything better?
( really boring issue, i know, lol...)
it'd be nice to just look at an entire drive and copy n paste the whole
lot into a text file...
ha, maybe then it can all get checked into excel..whereupon..etc,..
ORDER! can prevail...etc etc...

i have a program to list all the contents of directories bro, the prob is getting the links out of firefox,

i found if i highlighted a whole mess of them with control held down, and right clicked and chose copy link location, i could put the whole mess in a notepad..

but they all run together into one continuous stream of stuff, and i had to physically go in and separate each one...a mega pain in the ass.

eidenk won't be back, i pm'd him he feels there's too much bullshit on this thread and doesn't want to deal with it anymore, and that he has enough free vst's...

AND that he can read just the links if he wants...so all the power to him, gonna miss him, he is crusty sometimes but dom is a good fuckin dude imho.

so...

i can up a directory listing eventually, i have over 16,000 pieces in my archive now, and it takes a bit over 52gigabytes of space.

gonna be a LONG list.
