Something weird happened here. First time I downloaded new version it said 2.07 and there wasn't anything new. I just downloaded it again and it is 2.5 with new features. But VST version is still 2.07. Anyone noticed that or is it just me? hmm...

Well I'm glad the development over at Renoise is going strong. They released 2.0 today. They update regularly and are in constant communication via their forum to the users and actually implement ideas that users suggest.
I wasted my money on XT2. I bought it a year and 3 months ago and I haven't been able to make any music inside it. I was really hoping there would be an update that would let me do basic things like editing audio, automation without crashing... The way it was advertised was that it can actually do these things, which is very misleading. I have stayed optimistic up until this point, but I have lost faith now.
I really hope that for some reason they uploaded the wrong file... or it's all just a bad joke.
Bye.

Bugs remain the same with 2.5 !
Demo song Lost Emotions - HB crashes without touching anything - just playing few times in a loop.
With disabled automation - no crash ...
Great

i just got great news:
there are educational versions for cubase 4: all you need is to be a student or go to school or are a music teacher. that makes 70 bucks for Cubase 4.5 Essential EDU. other versions are very cheap, too. i just ordered it an i'm very happy

I dont live in the west where people can afford every second vst...
Here XT2 costs a week of work! And im a student so you can imagine how much of my soul goes into that amount of cash. But not the money what i wasted on xt but MY FUCKIN TIME AND THE FUCKIN EMOTIONS.
i have also done a lot if projects in xt2 which needs finishing. now whatever i wanna make i have to port it, BUT, since there is no midi export i cant.

Although Im not able to read all posts, we're lurking and writing down as much feedback as possible, and feedback is always appreciated, becuase it will make energyXT a better sequencer.

That's right : renaming an old beta a full vx.5 upgrade deserves a shiny-orange-brand-new-damn-ugly website.
I think i am just pissed off. Promises, and nothing came.

As for the midi export, try dropping a eXT1.4 VST into XT2, route your XT2 sequencer tracks to the 1.4 sequencer input, record midi into tracks into the eXT1.4 sequencer, then export from 1.4. (A bit of a run-around, but...)

Maybe he left the company a while ago and it's just the other dude keeping it alive.
Really disappointed.
