Behringer is all high and mighty on their "20 Years of Behringer", with a nice banner of eXT on their products page.
This is DEFINITELY the year of Anniversaries - Behringer, Steinberg, Mercedes Benz/formerly Daimler Crysler, RTL Television, your mo... er wait a minute... actually... no.
I just want eXT1 back, and I want it bugfree. But it looks like XT software adapted the habits from Steinberg: create something, never finish it, release a new version instead with less features and even more bugs.
At least I only used it as "creativity tool", not as main host. So I feel for you guys who're stuck on their projects, then again... I'm stuck on mine too, since eXT crashes them every time I want to load them with eXT somewhere in the chain(!).
*cough*
Congrats to the presentation anyway.

it's not that bad really, but it's your call of course. we're in the age where everything is supposed to be easy and streamlined, so spending 3 hours porting midi and vst presets from one daw to another (and losing automation along the way), via a pretty repetitive and mistake-prone process, isn't very sexy. but hey...Rottweiler wrote:
thanks but eerrggh its tiring. i will leave everything i think and start a new life [at least in an artistic sense]. cheers.
i wonder if the devs would at least be men enough to make a sticky dissent thread where we all could vent.

But *this* is the place where you can talk to the developers isn't it?hawk wrote:Doesn't any of you live in L.A. ?
He's probably there at the NAMM show as far as I know. So if you want some answers... why not?
I'm awaiting a update for the mac version as well. I wouldn't mind AU support and midi export
It's the difference between pro and amateur IMO. I switched to Pro Tools - you have a problem and you post about it you almost always get a response and help. There's a bug, they eventually fix it.
Ditto Audio Damage and numerous others.
Jorgen was an amateur with a loyal following - he make the leap to the big time and has totally and utterly failed.

she thinks i spend way too much time making music and way too little providing for our future, so i'd rather keep her out of this.
it just pisses me off to see a reference on their website to a forum in which the vast majority of people are dissapointed. it's like a bunch of people (the users of this forum) are a marketing asset, regardless of whether they're happy or not.
when i first picked up xt1.x i thought it meant precisely the opposite. my bad i guess.
behringer and xt2 go great toguether.
