The Infinite Player is Sonic Reality's new Kontakt Player product that is EXPANDABLE with a very WIDE range of sounds that will be growing like mad this year. It starts with Drum Masters which is available NOW as well as individual KAPSULE instrument libraries, Studio ProFiles Style Sessions, OmniSoundz 2 GM Set (over 2GB, High Quality set), www.sonicreality.com/konstruction.php Konstruction Expandable Loop Workstation and 10 Konstruction Paks with new loops never released before, Ken Scott Collection www.sonicreality.com/kenscottcollection.php , Serafine Collection and FX Tron www.sonicreality.com/serafine.php , Cinema Sessions www.sonicreality.com/cinemasessions.php and if that's not enough we're also porting over ALL of our Moog sounds (including samples of Keith Emerson's monster modular), ALL of our Tron sounds, all of our vintage synth sounds including gigabytes of material that has never been released in anything plus every instrument in the world you can think of either this year or over the next few.
Just within the first 3-4 months of release Infinite Player has over 200 gigabytes of sound content available for it... and that's just the beginning! A lot of things for the Infinite Player have not even been announced but you can imagine what we might do. We'll post a photo log soon (similar to the one we have on our myspace page) and it isn't hard to guess what and who's coming to Infinite Player in the not too distant future.
We also have "Infinite Player Sonic [R]evolution" T-Shirts now. (SWAG!!!!!!!) so if you order Drum Masters Silver, Gold or Platinum from www.esoundz.com we'll give you one of those if you want. Just tell Allen your size. We're also going to offer them as a free gift to any Gold or Platinum member of esoundz that has purchased Infinite Player either through the group buy or on its own.
There's also more NAMM news from SR. This is just the Infinite Player family. We also have OmniDrummer powered by KitCore, a new Ultra Loaded refill with everything for Reason 4, Download Cards, Submersible RMX Paks and more!

If you're having trouble with IP talk to allen (at) esoundz (dot) com. He can help you. It's just a Kontakt Player so nothing out of the ordinary on the technology. It's all about the SOUNDZZZ. Oh and we have a REALLY cool sound installer that is super easy. You just drag and drop the zip you downloaded and then it puts everything in its right place. (Radiohead reference there).

Hi Dave,
What is the price of the Infinite player? I don't see IP as a product all by itself.
Cheers,
Gordon

@Tones2:
I'm pretty sure that IP is based on a modified version of Kontakt Player 2 - does that help?
The NI site is ambivalent:

Infinite Player will play the IP-products only not other Kontakt sounds.
K3 will load and play them all, so you can mix and match sounds, create unique multis, use all the K3 editing / scripting / etc tools. A world of possibilities.

So, if I have K3, I don't need to buy IP?DarkStar wrote:Infinite Player will play the IP-products only not other Kontakt sounds.

Sorry I wasn't clear:
You need to have IP installed to enable Kontakt to load the IP sounds. So you would need to buy it.

in another thread, Squids wrote:Having IP is the gateway to getting it into Kontakt. But you only have to buy it once and it is not expensive (plus you get sounds with it if you buy it that are worth more than the price of it in the first place).

That makes sense.
Thanks Darkstar!

They were made into options in the GB instead of mandatory. Originally it was that you got IP (with those two) plus another 3 choices. Instead we changed it to completely 6 flexible choices (including IP itself) so that if you already had IP with the Sonor and Yamaha kit you could pick 3 other things instead.KindredSpirit wrote:Were the free bonuses included with the GB?I think the base product is this one:

It was great that they were separated out, especially for folks already in as you said and they are both worth getting. Or, better yet, GB folks could pick up the multitrack version of the same set instead of stereo and nab the great piano.
