I really like the look and the idea behind these synths, I haven't read all the post well and was wondering are they going to be available separately, they seem to be listed separately On the KVR instruments list.

They will only be available together, otherwise the logistics don't work with trying to sell it through shops since it just costs too much to sell individual synths for less.

If I can remember what other tracks ive got which feature the 3 synths exclusively in this manner I will upload them but I think thats probably about it.

There are other musics but they also contain other synths so would not be fair to use these as 'adverts' for what amazing sounds synthsquad is capable of.

DO you do any offline processing of the synths? or all realtime?

These synths have a fine organic quality. Always making me wonder what they are.

Hi ,

Its all realtime , its all written using PT HD on a rather ageing now G5. So no track freezing.

I do have the benefit of TDM plugins to help with CPU load.

Which is probably the only reason why my studio machine hasnt been upgraded yet to an intel.

Post processing is rarely more than a touch of compression and basic eq ie removing bass from sounds that dont need it.

I rarely do a lot of Eq during mixdown.

Effects wise its just the usual suspects , reverbs and delays.

I am very much of the opinion especially with synthetic musics that its easier to get the sounds right at source in this case inside the synths themselves than to spend ages post synth battering it into shape.

The other sounds for example the granular type sounds and vocal manipulations I do with a kyma.

But generally speaking I like to keep the sounds as simple as possible production wise as most of this fitting together of the mix I think happens with good arrangments and good sound choices and hopefully the correct notes!

(i just got zebra and sylenth and now this comes out. and largo. too many choices!)...need to stay focused.

Well, with respect to Lotuzia (and I mean that in the non-sarcastic sense), I don't know of any VSTi's that exhibit the kind of behaviour that I hear at the end of this mp3:

All that interesting 'machine noise' type stuff - ok, to some it may not be very 'musical', but it's precisely that kind of 'electrons being pushed through dusty circuits' character that I've looked/listened for in every analog emu I've tried* and this is the first time I've actually heard it and done convincingly to boot!

I really am very interested in this.

Will there be a dl'able demo?

*and I've tried a lot - Virus, Korg Oasys/ Prophecy/ all the Creamware stuff countless VSTis...

the do sound like they have a great presence and punch that most softies dont seem to have IMO. Maybe not reinvention of the wheel in terms of sound 'types' but very good sounding analogue emulations. Perfect for dance music - I want!
