The visualisers in the center are also very nice to let you know what is going on in the synth at a glance, they are context sensitive and show accurate plots of oscillator shapes, lfo waveforms, filter responses, and envelopes. They also animate with the highest priority voice, so you can what is changing is a useful way.fas1piano wrote:...also, GUIs are very nice, clear and functional. no silly hardware photos.
I am not in charge of testing, but hopefully someone at FXpansion can answer your question.fas1piano wrote:will you test with brainspawn forte? these things look like being made for live use! so it is important that they play well when patches are changed (sending vst data on scene change) and the like.
We will have an option "omni on/off" in a global options page, which will default to on.fas1piano wrote:also channel aware midi learn and program changes are useful for live players.
Polyphonic aftertouch is fully supported and can be automatically remapped to all the presets for you using our "Performance Controls". These appear in the mod system as Perf1 Perf2 PerfX and PerfY, can be mapped to midi ccs, pitch bend or aftertouch (both poly and channel get merged to a single poly source just called "aftertouch"), and also appear as the first four vst automation params. The entire mod system supports fully polyphonic modulation for all parameters, and includes per parameter and per voice per parameter random values.fas1piano wrote:how about polyphonic aftertouch? do they react to that?
I also have poly pitch bend support and will add in the future a mapping that allows 6 fixed voices to be allocated, and midi channels 1-6 notes and pitch bend to be remapped to voices 1-6 so that you can use guitar to midi converters to play the synth. This will not be in V1.0, but it will be in an update later on.
