As I go through pre-sets I find some to be much louder than others.
Ear damagingly too loud, esp with headphones.
So I have been going through the pre-sets and balancing the volumes.
The problem is the parent sounds. I can't find a way to save a change to a parent sound. It just creates a Child and leaves the Parent unchanged.
Is there any way to do this?

Edited for clarity:
I am using Sampletank and Sonic Synth.
Re-Save Parent sounds with different Volume?

The Sampletank formatted engines. I work mostly with Sampletank, but Sonic Synthbuscemi wrote:In what product?
uses the same system. I have no problems with Miroslav Philharmonic, but that uses the same system as well.

I'm pretty sure that you cannot change the Parent sounds (the .sth, .sti and .stw files) in any of the products.
As you have seen, when you make changes they are saved as a new Child preset (the .stip file).
