I haven't had issue with the EZ-AG itself (its black, small, unobtrusive, and sounds impressive through big speakers). My issue has been the "science project" look with different cables coming out everywhere. That's why I consolidated all the funny little boxes into a rugged-looking rack that clamps on the music stand and is very low profile from the audience. From the rack (right side from my perspective) to the EZ-AG is a single, pro-looking 2m black umbilical all nicely cable-wrapped that breaks out to the four plugs for the EZ-AG. The four-plug connection also gives a very strong support and strain relief for the fairly whimpy power connector. I never have problems with plugs coming out or making noisy pops while I move around. Out the left side of the rack, is another neatly-wrapped umbilicle with a single power plug, and a 1/4" female jack for connection to the PA. i suppose you could set the control/power complex on the floor behind you and have only the EZ-AG visible for an ultra-clean appearance (if you have all your music memorizedjoe5009 wrote:desrochers,
One of my concerns with using the EZAG at a wedding is that it does have a bit of a Fisher-Price look to it, especially for a formal event.
).Overall, the look is clean and professional, even in a very nice church or garden. Most people just think it is "some hi-tech synthisizer guitar thing-y". It feels more FP than it looks, but I'm the only one who touches it, and it has held up under regular heavy playing
