Any update on this? I'm particularly interested in seeing what you do with the graphical interface. In the case of this plugin it could really make a difference in usability, if done correctly. The way it works now is alright, but something more intuitive would go down a lot easier for new users.

I'd love to able to do everything Angstrolooper with your plug, Piz. Like looping one bar over 32 bars and recording over that again, or clicking away and the bar-controls and getting a really glitchy loop. I'd imagine that to be especially effective with midi, actually. Or just exceptionally hard to do properly without stuck notes, haha.

keep on trucking.

okay, that was over a year ago. i guess it's about time for this (it didn't seem right to update this thread while "this plug in is amazing" was still going strong).

i'm not sure if there are any new functions compared to last year's version... maybe the polyphonic triggering is new. mostly i just did a 1:1 mapping of parameters to the GUI. this will change... not sure if i like the shiny buttons, for one thing.

mac and linux versions could be done easily if anyone wants them.

 Impressive! Your renewed development on this greatly appreciated.

2 things I'm wondering now.

- Can the 1bar max increased to 4bars max (or maybe even 16 if not too complex).
- Is it skinnable?

I have to give it test on my lunch. Will report back.

Thanks again piz!

you mean a loop increment of 4 bars? it can be done, but why would this be better than just recording for 4 bars?

it's not exactly skinnable, but the GUI is made with the jucer (wysiwyg GUI editor for juce) so it can be changed easily.

Well, as I stated in the other thread, I'd like to be able to record passages and quickly dump them down to file. Without having to open eXT, record, stop, press save, enter, etc. Its not just to be lazy, I'm working on a background process that automatically takes a midi recording, converts the midi file's format/info and then applys this info to a sync'd wav file's Cue Chunk. Having it as an option would be great for quick record/dump of passages (of which, most are longer than one bar or even 4). If possible ofcourse.

Let me know if skinning is desirable and I will look into using Juce to make some ;) (learning to create GUIs with skins right now so its just for practice ;)).

Some things I've found so far (in FL8):

- It crashed FL8 if you try to load it as an instrument.

- If record stop is pressed (record) too close to the end of the loop, you get hung notes (please see my FR for autostop).

- Even though its a few seconds extra, It takes long to save a project when saving in FL8 after recording a loop.

FR:

- Add auto stop when end of recording loop is reached.

- Now that theres a GUI perhaps init file naming via the GUI (in the upper left section where Loop1 displayed by default).

Going to play around some more and see what I can see :).
