i just tried using the new skin in renoise 2 yesterday

but i get ALOT of pop-ups telling there is some kind of module error or something?

Which version of Charsiesis are you using (r3-1 is the newest) and does the plug work fine with the default skin?
If the plugin tells you about missing png's then try to re-download the skin.

It should contain 14 pngs:
- charsiesis.png
- charsiesis_flat_bronze.png
- charsiesis_flat_bronze_largetext.png
- charsiesis_grey.png
- charsiesis_grey_largetext.png
- charsiesis_largetext.png
- knob.png
- knob2.png
- knob3.png
- statusfont.png
- targets.png
- targets_flat_bronze.png
- targets_grey.png
- unitsw.png

There's a grey version and 2 bronze versions in the same file.
(that's why it's 1.2mb)
There should be 6 *.oms files in the zipfile dated feb.1st, just load the ones named "grey".

cant remember the version number,but the plug-in works great with the defaulte skin

and yes i think it was a missing .png error

will download the latest version and see if that will help

if the plugin dont go past 750x550 then IT IS SUITABLE for umpc and netbooks.
the chairiesis gui has too much wasted space and could have more larger readable dials to cover that space (to make it even more readable) so i regard it as "not good".....but the oatmeal one i look forward too. (no wasted space there).

edited and....anyway i was wrong...its good

when u will realize that wasting screen space on 3d panels (that serve no purpose) is wrong it will be too late...
whoever instigates such design flaws in plugin design gets my firm disapproval...

if u only want positive feeback then whats the point...

lol after using it...its actually a good GUI with hardly any wasted space (the space is actually needed for the txt)...
so i apologize...and thanks for very usable GUI.

i was in very bad mood...
