Missing sounds?

I recently installed SampleTank 2.5XL which I got on the Buy 1 get 1 deal.

I was going through the ST Combis last night.
I got to "Cascade" and got the message that Instrument 2 and 3 are missing.
The Soprano Sax is loaded in slot 1.

Which instruments are these that are missing?
If they really are missing, how do I go about getting them?

They should be included with the XL collection. Are you sure you have the XL and not just "L"? If you have just L then you need to get the sounds upgrade to XL from L to play those combis. We're going to start selling that product again on esoundz (if we haven't already). You can ask allen (at) esoundz (dot) com.

What are those 2 missing instruments names?

The ones in the Cascade combi that come after the soprano sax?

It is supposed to be XL. The Instrument folder is 6.17GB.

The download was in 8 parts in zips.

In Cascade, Parts 2 and 3 are McNastier

well, oddly enough I have McNastier and it loads and plays, but when I try to load the Cascade Combi I get that message that parts 2 and 3 are missing.
The 1st part, Soprano Sax loads.

Maybe the combi is corrupted.

I know that this has been mentioned before but, finally getting round to using Sampletank XL 2.5 and I find the following sounds are missing and yes I am using the correct XL files

All seem to be missing despite reloading the 8 zipped files.

Guitar effects, funky, heavy, leads, hard rock grooves, High Speed Beats, Hip Hop Basses, Hip Hop Beats, Horn Str Wind, Jazz Beats, Latin Congas, LoFi Beats, Urban Beats, Tambourines, RnB Soul, Reggaeton Beats, Pads, Mixed percussion, Misc Stabs and fx, Extra fx, Free MultiFX,



Any suggestions?

Almost all of those were in the Retank Group Buy (ReTank Loops 2, here) not partof the ST2 XL Library

To access them you will need to install them into a folder within the ST2 Instruments folder and do a Relist in ST2.

The 2 FX ones are not Instruments but are additional FX presets - they would need to be installed in the program installation folder (C:\Program Files\IK Multimedia\SampleTank 2.5\Effects here). I'm not sure that the free MultiFX work with ST2.5 (they were created for ST2)
