Yeah very. Really smooth sounds and some of the pads are lush. I'm listening through headphones on my laptop but i'm really impressed. Nice upgrade price as well, thanks Fabfilter!

Detune has not changed but you are right about the velocity sensitivity. It defaults to the new SQR mode. To get Twin1 response simply switch it to LINEAR mode.uselessmind wrote:Just bought it.
When playing Twin1 presets with Twin2 they sound different, something about the velocity curves and also the detune i think...

this is a fantastic upgrade with a lot of great presets (thanks a lot, bManic!). Everything is so well thought, we even get a direct path to all v.1 sounds ... so i'm tweaking my own old sounds now and learn how to use the new features and get accustomed to the workflow-enhancements (xy-pads without having to open a new page!).

I just purchased the Value bundle toward the end of December. I figured I'd log in to my Fabfilter account this morning and find a very attractive upgrade price to Twin 2. To my surprise, I found an upgrade license in there! Needless to say - I can't wait to get home and play!
A huge thanks to the guys at Fabfilter. This kinda thing makes me really glad I chose to buy this Fabfilter bundle at Christmas over some other things I was looking at.

Fabfilter by far is on of my favorite companies. They really do take great care of their customers.
Unfortunately I have to work, but I've already installed Twin 2, entered my license and can't wait to sit down later with this beast.

Upgrade price was very reasonable too. Only got to play for a few minutes this morning but it seems like a nice upgrade. The GUIs are only getting better as far as I am concerned - from the usability perspective, not necessarily the "looks" perspective.

Totally off topic, I knew a little kid growing up in urban NJ who lived in the projects near us.
