Cytomic was formed in December 2007 by Andrew Simper as a company dedicated to producing DSP plugins using analog modelling based on quality algorithms, with a focus on ease of use and reasonable pricing. Andrew has been Head DSP Developer for FXpansion for the past 4 years, where he coded the effects for Guru and BFD2, and created the D-CAM: Synth Squad (to be released Q2 2009). Cytomic software is currently in use by top musicians and has already featured on number one singles on Beatport.

You have another instant buyer here. No need to demo. I'm already completely sold!
99$ !!

Wave's, your days are numbered. Mark my words!

Please, PLEASE get it released before the end of February.. we are currently mixing an album that has the mastering session booked for the 27th. This project NEEDS your compressor.. very badly!
Cheers!

Yes, Waves certainly have a lot of competition already in the form of Stillwell and Audio Damage among others, that offer quality FX for silly money. This will make things even more 'interesting'. Definitely looking forward to this and more from Cytomic!bmanic wrote:You have another instant buyer here. No need to demo. I'm already completely sold!

Looking at the screenshot, I'm curious about the functioning of the Peak Clip button...

Andy, if you happen to have a press release that would work better, let me know. Otherwise, I think it should be fine. Just email me if you need anything changed.

Andy, does it acts as a soft-saturator if you push or overdrive the output ?

"Analog limit
This button applies analog non-linearities to the input to the compressor's amplitude detection circuit (while not affecting the input signal itself). This results in a different character to the processing - the compression effect is more transparent on attacks."
