Survived my mini-vacation, but thought up another fun Atomic gizmo:
set up 3 instances of Atomic, and its Default-Seq, (last in the preset list)

Set the first Atomics 16 semitone dials at -24 through -9, so each step plays its own semitone in that order.
Set the second Atomics semitones, at -8 through +7
and the third Atomics semitones at +8 through +23
Now when you press a key, 'Team Atomic' plays those 40+ notes in order.

Now start some vst percussion sound source with sounds/samples mapped over a large range, I'm still using Pettinhouse kits in M42, and point the Atomic midi out at your hosts midi input for the instrument(s) with your sounds. Turn down the Atomic volume, or mute the tracks each instance is on, and get ready for some
great surprises when you press a key or chord or sequence of keys syncopated , and Atomic pounds away on dozens of drums. The Airkit is great fun, offering a wide variety of cooperative hits on each keypress. I added
a pair of Enceladus synths, with the SkyStrings, and Enceladus-Orbit patches, just itching for a great lead line to finish it off! Ah, got it! 'LED Viper' from the
TC42 Ambient soundset...sweet sweeping filtered moog monosynth, more reverb than the doctor allowed, but hey, thats AlgoMusic! :)
A very fun weekend is here 8)

Saw you post in the Wusik forum, so assuming you
are one of the clan, I found a Wusik poly pad and monosynth lead combo that has some magic, with the bonus of sounding good with full octave pitchbend, so its been
good fishn' for me!
In the Wusikstation Famous Keys Lead folder, use Angels,
and in the Famous Keys Pads folder, use Feedbackee, a nice punchy rythym guitar sound, around 15% louder than Angels, played in the upper 3/5 of the keyboard. I have my 3 Atomics playing the Cheebah kit from Wusikstation Drumillenium like mentioned above...so much to choose from! The weekend is already getting too short :( :hihi: Tomorrow, I hope to have the Atomic latch mode firing out Drumatoxin beats
but the caffeine/sleep ratio is problematic on sunny weekends.
Cheers

I'm not moving too fast these days. Too many things vying for attention.
Keep posting your great tips. I'm going to get to them soon I hope.
Thanks for the new pitch bend stuff. I can't believe I hung up my guitars for so long. Getting back into guitar, especially with midi, opens up new worlds I couldn't have dreamt of with keyboard only.
Sleep is good for you.

There's another kvr review of Atomic dated yesterday. I'm going to go read it.

I'm back. Seems like a mixed review, mostly positive, some good tips, and maybe a few potential issues for user that need resolution.

Looks like the Reviews help get the word out.

I'm getting more envious each time you mention MIDI guitar. Be sure to post your address, and when you leave on vacation  :hihi:

Sorry. We're on the Schwarzennegar diet. No money for vacation.

It's sad to see the great state of California conquered and annexed by corrupt foreign powers, and sold out by a vacuum of in-state leadership.
I'll bet the governator never misses a plate of strudel before bedtime. :(

Yes..I noticed that. That's why i bumped this thread:

Looks like he could have used that info for how LIVE does MIDI plugins.

However I don't have Reason, so i don't know how the rewire works. But you should be able to control pitch info, and velocity/gate stuff. However for velocity to work, you need a synth that has modulation for velocity to Volume, and hopefully to the filter so you can use Atomic to control Cuttoff frequency.
