ok posted a little video, when its done processing you can all check it out - its true, asus pc eee running live and synth 1 and sq8l and impulse at 20-30 cpu.

anyone tried running FL Studio or other DAWs and VSTis on Atom Dual-Core based netbooks ?

I once used Acer Aspire 5315 for live performance with USB MIDI keyboard. I used software sampler along with pre-rendered audio in Cubase. Aspire 5315 has Celeron 540 and Realdek HD audio. I had ASIO4ALL installed and eveyrything worked well.
Now I am considering buying some Atom N2800 based netbook (probably Lenovo IdeaPad S110). Atom N2800 runs at the same frequency as Celeron 540 which is 1860 MHz but Atom is dual-core so it owns Celeron in benchmarks. However the audio system goes unspecified and it confuses me. Does it really matter? Maybe those notebooks actually have HDA but it already become standart and goes without sayng?
