Shogger
+1 I agree. I moved to 96KHz couple of years ago.
But I guess that's the choice developers have to make. Don't get me wrong, I'm not not complaining, even though this plugin may not be for me :)
cheers
This choice is not a technical choice. Maybe he wants to make a pro/pay version with unlimited sample rate support which would be more than understandable.

What?

unfortunately it won't work properly cauz the compensation for the curve warping near nyquist is just flawless calculated at 44.1 and so you will get unpredictable curve behaviour at different SR.

Uhm, ya, I will change that, some day  48kHz is safe as well but not much more higher samplerates, atm.
But today Patrick and me struggled on squeezing this damn nice graphics into a reasonable sized VST, man, what a pain :help: but at the end of the day we've survived somehow and the plug-in too.
On the fun side, I'm already mixing with this pretty subtle little mofo and I just can warn you: It will turn out to be really addictive in the end. On my own I'm already infected from the transformer LF distortion simulation which is smooth like cake. I'm just dialing in a little bit here and there and thats already the ticket in the whole mix. Did I say to forget the EQ? Not at all, just dial in some 2dB HF and add some subtle preamp goodness and voila: 3d imaging improvements in the whole mix. And I swear: there were no M/S tricks or so applied here. It's just the EQ and the signal modelled pre-amp simulation.
I will probably upload some seductive sound demos during next days to make the waiting on this just a little bit harder for you :hihi:

Hope you didn't make it too small Bootsie, that GUI is just too nice.

don't get this wrong: the screen size/resolution will be the same. We were just struggling with the size in memory (RAM) of it.

Cowabunga !

I use NastyCS quite often, could you tell in what way does BootEq (the eq section) differs sonically from NastyCS ?
