IK M&M should hire Limewire!
Glad you like 'em!

Actually, I meant to do an Oatmeal bank at some point, but life is pretty hectic at the moment. I should have a stretch of free time coming up in a couple of months.

You know, somehow I don't think the GUI designer has a lot of say in many aspects of how the UI should look/operate. I'm guessing there's a list of "to do" coming from the top and handed down to the GUI artist and he's just following orders, with check lists of stuff like "super tiny GUI so it can fit on a laptop screen" or "one click navigation with drop down menu so user can navigate multiple directory levels with one click". And if the GUI artist talks back, they fire his ass.
 Sounds like you've done some time in the corporate trenches :hihi:

Just wanted add to the echoing din of praise for your fine skin, Limeflavour!!! I'm not a huge fan of Oatmeal, but at least your very clear design and layout makes me want to give it another look, and that's saying a lot, I think! Thanks for your fine artistry and craft!!!

Thanks! :)

How do you change the skin used by Oatmeal? Can't find it clearly in manual or searching in threads here. Probably easy, but I can't do it. thanks.

There's a button named "skin" on the default beige colored gui.
Click this button then browse to your *.oms file (in this case lf_lumina.oms)
Choose the file and restart (close/open) the synth and the new skin is used.

Looks lovely, i am new to this but have used Oatmeal and really like it, i also use audjoo helix.
Both are complicated but i enjoy them and also use simpler synths to try and understand what i am doing.
This well help....

I read earlier on advice on how to load up the new skin but how do i upload the latest version of Oatmeal and how do i go about deleting my old one? I am concerned i will lose stuff in existing tracks.

:help:

Click the about box on the skin to see what version you are currently using, if it's below 38-1 then go to http://bicycle-for-slugs.org/ and download the newest one.

The .dll have the same name as the previous version so you should just overwrite the file.
I belive new version is backwards compitable (only unison is new I think) but if you are unsure just rename the new .dll to Oatmeal38-1.dll or something.
Then you still have the old version intact.

i am on 37-6 c, thanks for info. Will give it a bash

Great skin for a good synth. Thanks for sharing. :)

Wow, got the skin changed over and updated to latest version. Well good.

Are there skins for Audjoo Helix, i have the free beta version?

Post

Nope, no skins available for Helix. The Commercial version got a new and improved skin but the old doesn't.

Hey guys, the download link is broken. Could someonere-upload it please? This is one of my fave synths, would love to finally have a neat skin for it!

Post

I will fix a working link and also a small update to the skin but I'm not able to do this before Thursday this week.
If you are lucky someone else might post it before me ;)

Edit: Have you tried the link on the first page again, it works for me right now?
