i just checked my archive, i do NOT have klangformer, most likely it was deleted because of password protection.
i have too many plugs to keep track.

AFAIK, no- spyro's klanglabs stuff is not related to klangformer, rebel, ninja, etc...pinkjimiphoton wrote:http://spyro.mediashift.net/klanglabs/
is klang labs klangformer and klang all the same stuff?

thanks for the headsup, blort...wtf do i know?
i just assumed, you know....klang is klang, but...
so dig this shit...
i tried that synthfellow minimoog2003 pos, right?
i had the archive, so no need to keep the synth...
i deleted it.
went to empty the old recycle bin...
ERROR...cannot delete folder minimoog, cannot read from source file or disk.
so now on my daw machine, the shit is in what appears to be an "empty" recycle bin that cannot be dumped, and that mofo is full.
i tried a buncha stuff, same thing on my laptop, but on the laptop i used control z and "undeleted" it....phew...
and then nuked it from a command prompt.
unfortunately, that won't work on my tower, and now i got all this undeletable shit that i can't even see...
i cleaned the reg, i even deleted the whole recycle folder, every goddamn trick i could think of or google.
and there it sits.
the thought of wiping the drive and having to reload everything over a goddamn shitty vst is bumming me out.
any ideas?
suggestions?

[absolutely no help]that's happened to me before, but it's been a while...honestly, I don't remember when the last time was or what I did about it...sorry, pjp.[/absolutely no help]
i do not remember using one, but I do know that there are some actual "delete utilities" out there for win to help you in situations like this...
I wish I could help you better, but honestly- I think that sometimes windows goes thru attitude adjustment periods: maybe after a couple of reboots and some time, the "etch-a-sketch" (that is the windows OS...) will be shaken clean enough for you to delete your recycle folder content. I think that is what may have happened in my experience (I know that "letting it have its way" for a while has been the best approach in the past when I've had similar windows problems...)
then again- if you can get a demo of one of those delete utilities to work, maybe that'll help

Would anyone around here having this synth with KNOWN or without password be willing to pm it to me or place it at some file sharing site?pinkjimiphoton wrote:i just checked my archive, i do NOT have klangformer, ...

there is always a bit of commotion surrounding this/these !j development synths. Here is an example link to another kvr thread. I'm sure there are others...but just wanted you guys to know that this one may not be worth actively pursuing...InstruJunkie wrote:Would anyone around here having this synth with KNOWN or without password be willing to pm it to me or place it at some file sharing site?pinkjimiphoton wrote:i just checked my archive, i do NOT have klangformer, ...

i can open it in winrar and see all the files, but it's true, winrar asks for a series of passwords when trying to unpack ... i'd be interrested as well ... anyone has these passes?pinkjimiphoton wrote:i don't recall a password, maybe the file was changed?InstruJunkie wrote:It was on page 332 posted: Mon Jan 12, 2009 9:41 pm

you asked for this too, the sytheticII wrapper, s2wrap.
http://www.box.net/shared/3pmox0ou4o
anyone know what this is? deremin. makes no sound, maybe missing
files, etc.?
http://www.box.net/shared/vn4hbbkz8c
also found:
at3osphere/utopia 2(was this missing?)
and an early version of synthmaker that runs as a plugin.
(don't get your hopes up, very very basic, afaics)
seems vieNA (one N ) is the sf2 opener i sought, after all. opens fast, dsnt
need a soundblaster, and offers same editing as vieNNa( still a pain, tho' ). never checked it properly, evidently.
but vsampler is the business as a sampler, easy layering, etc. and spits out sf2s...found a beta of v3 but only runs in demo, so get a 30day full trial:
