Nice to have both I think. If you are already using the mouse then it seems ergonomic to have something on screen to click on. I don't tend to use the keyboard all that much when I'm doing music. Having said that I have just changed the shortcut to just s.

I hope i've overlooked nothing, but going through the Posts i've seen nothing simillar:
As Listed in first Post a "Live"-Mode was requested (i guess to trigger Clips/Scenes in a Live situation). +1 for this.
Another "goodie" would be to bring the Drum Sampler a bit neraer to Cakewalks Cyclone and Beatscape with the ability to trigger Loops from the Pads (or, via Midi, trigger definded Sequencer-Clips/Scenes)and loop them until Pad is triggered again (e.g Latch-Mode) or Key on the Keyboard is released.
This would bring the ability to use Energy as a one in all Enviroment for recording, Producing and Livesituations, no need to transform Projects to Ableton (or similar) anymore whem using them Live

i just'd like to request minor Workflow and Inoperations:

- MIDI capture - one key to "paste" all midi since last Play/Loop...an absolute essential introduced by LOGIC once

- Multiple Track Loop Recording for Midi and Audio, similar to 1.4 Audio rec.

- Tracker-like stepless scrolling, so you may better feel the flow of the Track

some workflow improvements for midi editing : TRANSPOSE variable semitones , TRANSPOSE 1 OCTAVE UP and TRANSPOSE 1 OCTAVE DOWN + shortcuts?!?

That's already there - ctrl+up/ctrl+down for semitones, shift+ctrl+up/shift+ctrl+down for octaves.

Sampler: More functionality please, like MIDI learn for setting zone and root note, a decent sized sample view window (with zoom), the ability to split a sample and assign to keys. Envelope sliders to have numeric indication. That sort of thing...

Edit: Oh, and drum tracks to use "proper" MIDI tracks.

Also, being able to specify the note name for the root key like the zone settings. I can remember that C3 is 60 but anything up or down from that and I'm just plain lost.
