Given your post, I'd second the recomendation of:

BTW, awesome demo Devon!

Check out PRIZM (www.hardcoreharmonics.com) - it contains a some really great synthetic, but real sounding, choir sounds and some female vocalists that combine to form some great sounding choir sounds.

Of course, that just scrathces the surface of what PRIZM has. Check out the mp3 demos and you will see there is tons you can do with it.

It's also a discontinued product, one that you cannot even purchase used due to EastWest no resale policy.
No, that wasn't me.

I personally like Precisionsound's Angelic Vocal Pads series. They've got four samplesets in the series, all of which include sets for Giga, SoundFont & HALion/Kontakt.

There are some good demos on their website, if you'd like to hear them before taking the bite.

Check out the VLS Soprano Chiors downloadable instrument. Only 99 euros and the demos are great...

---------------
The Vienna Symphonic Library held extensive castings to find 16 singers for its Soprano Choir who could sing the soprano's whole tonal range, and also harmonically blend in with the group's overall sound. After several test recordings, the first vocal sessions took place at the Silent Stage.

The most outstanding result of these sessions is the first ever sampled vocal Legato - the Soprano Choir's Legato Performance Patches for Vienna Instruments render these fluid notes most naturally.

The articulations include the vowels "U" (ooh) and "A" (aah) as staccatos, sustains, legato sustains, crescendos and diminuendos, fortepianos and sforzatos. In addition, there are staccatos of the syllables "ra", "sa", and "ta".

Your purchase also entitles you to download the free Vienna Ensemble 2 mixing and host software.

This thing seems to sound great, but they really should license a player for it. As it stands, 400 buck for the library plus another 400 for Kontakt is just too rich for my blood.
No, that wasn't me.

www.DigitalSoundFactory.com Vocal Expressions

Just a quick note about our new vocal ensembles. There is some real history here. These vocal groups we originally recorded by the Ensoniq Sound Design team back in the 90's and were never released. I recently discovered them at E-MU in a box consisting of 18 ADAT's! We were really impressed by the conductor's encouragement, the tuning, and the quality of the recordings. We are so excited about this new library we are offering KVRer's a 40% discount. Can't beat that! Enter CHOIR at check out the savings will be instantly applied. Available license free in SoundFont and Cakewalk Dimension Formats.

Here's just one more. Omnisphere - with it, you get a world class choir library... plus one or two other quite useful sounds. ;)
