The dual mono, and mid side processing are both very easy to add to the plugin, and will take no extra cpu at all. I will release it as is and consider such additions with care as I don't want to spoil the compressor with feature creep just for the sake of it. I would prefer it to be slightly limited and people work around the limitations if The Glue already covers most tasks in a simple an elegant way.bmanic wrote:This is only true if you run two mono instances of The Glue, each processing their own channels, left respective right. A stereo instance of The Glue does not work in dual-mono or any kind of left/right averaging mode (AFAIK), which means that sticking it between a mid/side matrix would result in no change to ordinary stereo operation.NEKRO.MACHINE wrote: For example say stick (Sic) an instance of either Brainworx Music's BX Solo or Voxengo's MSED before and after The Glue and you have instant Mid/Side (or lat/vert) fuctionality
Just wanted to clear this up.
Cheers!
