I prefer convolution reverb, and only of real spaces, as even the good hardware reverbs don't sound much different then the better end of the algorithmic VST's to me. With that said, its mostly up to the IR library, since convolution engines are so similar, so I'll cast my vote for Altiverb, Gigapulse VST, or Waves IR-1.

classik studio reverb!

i voted wizooVerb W2 as you really get the best of both worlds! which is great. However i dont think its possible to use the same reverb all the time and have got most on the list and then some  but WizooVerb W2 is the one i use the most but i also get some good results with artsacoustic reverb, that BreverB is good for Lexicon 480L style reverb (though it does not come anywhere near the real unit of course), the eventide remakes turned into plug-ins of the 2016 stereo room and 2016 plate VST's by Princeton digital are nice and dark sounding and ambience of course gets the odd outing, the most surprising reverb plug-in i have had good results with when EQ'd/filtered is Buzzroom's Room Reverb amongst many more.

There have been a couple really nice new additions to the vst world since that list started, Variverb and Warmverb are both worthy of such a list. I've been diggin the warmverb demo alot myself.

EDIT: I see the "Other" choice so the two i mention would go there if prefered i guess.
T2 Icarus is a must. SonicCore SCOPE is the most. As heart of studio it has my vote, cause XITE-1 is all she wrote.

To me, after massive comparisons, Bootsy EpicVerb is damn impressive! and its the best native vst reverb plugin. beatuiful color. In it's own leauge with the expensive gear.

Yeah Bootsie's one is really cool

er, what's so good about epic verb? bootsie is a good programmer....

I vote for Audio Damage's Adverb! Cheap, sounds lush, retro and easy on the CPU!

The survey is already out of date, with a few of the items no longer available.

Altiverb is pretty good, but the CPU usage can be a bit high.

Classik studio reverb isnt bad and its easy on the CPU, so its kind of a toss up. Also The Oxford Reverb is pretty good too, its all taste really :P
