It'll be worth the wait, don't worry
Work is progressing well on the engine, the GUI will be going on very shortly.
We've just put out OSX versions of all our CM plugins, plus CM303 this last month or so, we're working at 125% over here....
Cheers
Dave

OK - here's an update. In the last month or so we have successfully negotiated a REX2 license from Propellorheads, and have started implementing it within Neutron. We have also negotiated an ACIDized WAV license from Sony and have started implementing that too.
Not only that, but we've developed our own special lossless audio compression codec that will squeeze Neutron files down to as little as 30% of their original size (depends on the content though).
Neutron is shaping up to be a mammoth development project - I'm sorry it has taken so long, but I promise you it will kick serious booty when it is finished.
Regards
Dave

Why don't you just realease the thing the way it was originaly planed and add all of that other stuff as updates later? I personaly could do without Rex2 and Acidization. I just need a good drum sampler, I'm still using the 202 but I would just like to be able to load higher quality samples into it.

Personally, I subscribe to the "it'll be ready when it's ready" school of software publishing....
Tachyon and Neutron will be out this year.

Agreed. Personally, I can wait until a real announcement is actually made. That's far preferable to announcements that get continually delayed: " Oh, it'll be out Nov 25, no Dec 1, no,no-Jan 15. Wait! I meant Mar 23/04!"Muon Software Ltd wrote:Personally, I subscribe to the "it'll be ready when it's ready" school of software publishing....

My least favourite is developers who keep saying that product XYZ will be out "RSN"= "Real Soon Now!"
How many days in an RSN ?
Take your time and do it right.
Cheers
