for anyone trying to get their time together. ('Tisra' just means threes, I think.)

You got 3 beats. Now, redouble this, 3 x 4. But group it rhythmically keeping the idea of *3*, group the 12 as 4 3s, instead of 3 4s.

The hyphen preceding a syllable indicates the first of a new '3'. A comma means a 'rest'. Underscored is the first of the basic three. (essentially, 12/16 v. 3/4)

4 examples. Cycle each 'til you've grasped it. You might like to do the syllables independently to hear the pattern before you do it against a hand clap or foot tap.
