I tried searching the esoundz & downloadablesoundz for "KONSTRUCTION" and nothing comes up?? Also, other than the link Squids posted after NAMM nothing on sonicreality points you there either.

I purchased a bunch of the soundpacks during the GB but now I can't even find them?

Am I missing something here?

You were able to get a pre-release version in the last Infinite Studio Group Buy. They were going to be officially released by now but we pulled them because we came up with something we thought was going to be even better than the current maps it has now. We put together a structure where groups of instruments are separated by octave and given their own instrument in a multi so you can easily mix and match groups of instrument loops from DIFFERENT Konstruction kits. It's really cool but time consuming. Also, I wanted there to be a few more bells and whistles with the effects. This is all the stuff that needed to be done with the MAIN Konstruction product that still has not been even pre-released at all. But those same features will be made for the individual Konstruction Paks and it will be a free update to the people that got it in the group buy.

Anyway, we outdid ourselves with the Infinite Player and all of its family of products and the marketing has to catch up with the production explosion as well. You guys on KVR get to hear about these Sonic Reality products first and be on the edge of what we're doing. But, we've got a LOT of catching up to do for us to get the power of these products across to the whole world! We also learn from your feedback. So, what we've learned is that we need to have very clear information, demonstration audio and video, tips and tricks, bullet point features... the whole nine. In fact, I think IK does a great job on its new product pages on the IK site so we're going to try to do something more like that - a revamp of the Sonic Reality web site that gives you everything you ever wanted to know about our products and more. That along with the video content I've been wanting to do for ages will make all the difference.

In any case, for now you can at least read more about the concept of Konstruction here: www.sonicreality.com/konstruction and the whole concept of its family of Infinite Player instruments here: www.sonicreality.com/infiniteplayer

But there's so much more. As far as when Konstruction will be out officially, it's look like a month from now or at least some time in April. At that time there would be the free patch updates as well which add to what's already there. It doesn't end there though. We have some more enhancements we want to do bringing more features and it is yet another free update down the road that's planned as well. Infinite Player family products are a good investment in that way. A lot of free upgrades and enhancements, added value after-purchase kind of things that make it that much more the THING to get. That's the idea anyway.

Ok... thanks. You did say that there would be an update to us who already have it to take advantage of the new features correct?

Yes, of course. That's what I am saying. The updates are just new patches really but they have enhanced scripting and there is a scheme for using slightly different mapped groups of JUST the drums, just the bass lines, just the keys, just the guitars all together in a multi so you can mix and match different groups of different Konstruction kits. Now, that doesn't ALWAYS work musically if you do that but it's cool for experimentation and happy accidents.
