I am stunned. Very sad here. At a loss for knowing that his touch will be absent from KVR and the online music community.

Tim was such a generous soul. He was always so willing to share his knowledge freely. I never met or spoke with him, but as with many others, found his synths (M42, M51, etc.) and presets inspirational. They have found their way into much of my work. In fact, I have used M42 more than any other synth. By looking at his presets I learned much about sound design. Apparently, Tim has touched many other lives in similar fashion. Rest well, kind sir.

Deepest condolences to Tim's loved ones.

My condolences to Tim's friends and family.

As is the experience of many others here on KVR, my few online interactions with him were always friendly, polite, and constructive - he handled himself as a gentleman, and his words were kind. He has clearly left a legacy, not just of great sounds, but of lives touched in a positive way.

Tim was a creative, kind, and generous person whom I wished I had had the opportunity to know more than just correspondence and support...you will be missed sir :(

Indeed a great loss. Sympathies and respects to the family.

Tim was an amazing man, and we're lucky to have the legacy of his sound design, music and archived posts. He was always quick to jump to help anyone and offer great advice to anyone who simply asked. This is indeed a very sad day.

I never met Tim or had any contact with him other than a few emails
over the years, but he seemed the perfect combination of gentleman
and scholar. His work was and will continue to be inspiring to me,
His patience and desire to help others was without equal. As I read
through these e-mail I see name after name of the best designers
and synthesists-a true measure of his humble genius. I would say
RIP but I suspect you are working on making the soundscapes in
wherever you are even more amazing!
My condolences to his family and friends. My prayers are with you.
Best,
Scott

I was moved by Tim's tribute to his mentor. I can't believe we have to make tributes to Tim now. I agree with everything that has been said, and have nothing new to add. I just want his loved ones to know how many people cared about him.

Such sad news -- and so unexpected, even though he had struggled with his health recently.

Tim was one of a kind, talented, a brilliant mind, and a generous soul.

My condolences go to his family, first and foremost -- but Tim was also part of the Camel Audio family, and part of the KVR family (and quite possibly the list goes on!). His passing is a loss for all of us.

One thing you can say about a great artist like Tim, though: he Lives On through his beautiful music.

Like the rest, I'd crossed paths with Tim in varying capacities: I've been a Camel Audio tester, he tested my K1 sound set, he'd fulfill Camel prizes when I'd run the KVR monthly contest, and various other threads here and there...

What struck me about him was how passionate he was about what he did. It seemed that he lived his life exactly the way he wanted to... or at least recognized that he had something pretty special and no complaints were needed! He also wanted to share that joy with people, and it was funny how he could talk with us oldsters about the "lovable peculiarities" of any and *every* old synth that gave us headaches or set our spirits soaring.

Though far too short, his is a life to be celebrated.

My condolences to his family and colleagues.
