Wow...I'm shocked, another great one who passes away.
I never had the pleasure to interact with him besides some tech support mails, but throughout the years I grew a great amount of respect and indirect affection to him, making TC my favorite sound designer ever. He was and IS one of my examples to follow in the audio world, his sounds always took me to space, where the unfortunate things of life didn't matter, and you just had to enjoy the ride.
Very, very sad news indeed... If we, the people that only knew him indirectly feel this sad, I can't imagine the sadness that his family and colleagues are feeling right now; my most sincere condolences to them.
Rest in peace Tim, know that you'll be always remembered as one of the best in the audio world.

After I saw the topic of this thread, my heart stooped and my eyes were full of tears. I can't believe what happened even though I knew that Tim had problem with his health.
We were in contact via emails quite often, we reciprocally exchanged our software and Tim even made some sound design for my sound libraries. He was always very nice and willing person. I am really very sad that he left us.
Tim, we will miss you very much and our hearts will be with you always. I just can hope that your soul can be now with your loved stars and nebulae.
My condolence comes to Tims' family and to all his friends.
Very sad day today, really

What? Oh my, what a shock. What a wonderful person! I am so deeply saddened by this, words fail me. He was such a wonderful addition to the community; so much did he give. I will be making music from his presets and synthesizers for the rest of my life - what a wonderful legacy.
He will be missed in the most imperative sense of the word. We love you, Tim. So sorry you had to leave prematurely.
