Tim is amongst the stars now, which is a place he always wanted to be closer to. It's so sad that he went there so soon. My deepest prayers and thoughts go out to his family and friends.

He and I regularly discussed astronomy and telescopes over the years I knew him. His M42 and M51 synths, inspired me to create a series of songs based on the Perseids meteor shower. These songs were tracks that just would not have come out of me if not for Tim and his inspiring work and friendship.

Tim also helped us out here at ManyTone with presets for a few of our synths. His presets always impressed me, and he had a way of creating sounds that were truly powerful and unique. Thank you Tim, You will be missed. I'll see you out there someday. I'm sure you'll be driving the Ultimate Galactic Modular Synth/Telescope by then my friend.

We all will miss Tim very much. He was very generous and helpful man. When he bought my Mistral because he was very interested for sounds, I were very proud and happy that such great sound designer who make own sound design, is interested for my sounds. He gave me his software for free and also he wanted that I can be one of team for Alchemy. I had and still have a big respect for his talent and for everything what he brought to KVR community. This is really very painful and irreplaceable loss for us all. I am profoundly sad and still can't believe .....

Though I already posted in the other thread (and once before here), I wanted to mention here that I have asked Ben and Mike whether they would post an article in memoriam of Tim for the April issue of WSM. If anybody else has particularly poigniant memories or anecdotes to contribute, please contact me to see if they could be included as well. I would really like to give his passing the gravity it deserves and I feel like he touched a lot of people.
