What a shock! This really saddens me.

Somehow each thread he contributed to raised the level of that thread because ... well, because it was Tim Conrardy!
Every time when I saw Tim had posted in a thread I felt the thread was more worth reading.
He was such a remarkable and devoted sound designer (and much more) and a very generous and nice person.

Yikes! This took me by surprise. Honestly, I didn't know Tim personally, except to exchange a few here and there. The description of his last hiking event is surely a reminder to us all that life is fragile.

By now, Tim is sure that there is life between death and rebirth. He managed to contribute more to the field of DSP than many people who will live much longer that he did. I admire that and wish him well in his journey. In addition, I wish his family well through this trying time.

His sister in law just passed away a few weeks ago and he posted a song in her memory. I just exchanges some messages last week. No...

You will be surely missed Tim. I'm glad that I got to know you and interact in such a small way here at KVR - this news is really sad for many many people. My thoughts go out ot his family.

Deeply shocked and saddened.

I haven't visited this community for a long time, but Tim often used to pop up on Atari forums too offering crucial advice.

He was an irreplaceable asset to the community.

My thoughts are with his family.

Man...I really only know his patches and yet I'm experiencing sadness (and slight fear of death I suppose).
Forgive me if I'm making an egocentrical comment, but whenever this kind of thing happens at places I regularily visit on the net, it makes me think about what might happen to me if I lose a loved one (Hasn't happened yet, I'm young).

Judging from what I read from him and of course from my enjoyment of his sound design, it seems like he truly loved what he did.

I'm tempted to write something stupid about the most heavenly pads of the Aether awaiting him, but i'll just shut up

Terrible news, beyond sadness.

Tim will be remembered all over the world in many peoples music.

It's so weird...shocking news indeed...I have had communications in the past him and he seemed a pleasent, courteous chap...how awful for his family.
By the number of posts here he will be very much missed..
