Hello to everyone,
My name is Craig; Tim's younger brother. In trying to find some answers today, I "google" Tim's name and found your site and all of you talking about how
Tim has helped you on your journey to love the music... I do not play (although Tim tried to teach me many, many times) It is so cool and humbling to see how he has effected so many people in the world. This site is very specail!
Tim was at my home last Saturday and was teaching my oldest daughter a few chords.. He also wrote a song for my wife Anne ( posted on the site). I read all your posts and a huge smile comes on my face and I thank you for that.
Please keep the music... for those who Tim touched... pass it on! please teach someone what you learned. Tim would think that is so very cool!!
Cheers,
Craig C.

Very sad to learn of Tim's passing. I didn't know him but I very much knew his work and admired his talent. My condolences to his family and friends.

Tim Conrardy was a great contribution to the music world. I greatly appreciate his work and dedication. Though I didn't have the privilege of knowing him on a personal level, he will be missed. His legacy will live on whenever I use a synth and call up a preset of his. He was a wonderful sound designer. His creations will continue to inspire us long into the future.
Rest in peace Tim!
Doug

Hi Craig, please give our collective condolences to your family and Tim's loved ones. You'll be pleased to know that KVR is a bunch of musicians that just like Tim, share information and lend a helping hand when we can. Tim fit right in from the very start. He was a gentleman.Dadster5 wrote:Hello to everyone,

Tim was a pleasure to work with, always patient and friendly. He was a gifted musician, sound designer, and one of the most dedicated technical support people I've ever come across.
It is a shock to interact with someone on an almost daily basis (in our case via IM, as we worked on opposite sides of the U.S.) then suddenly, they are gone. I enjoyed our chats about music stuff (such as gear or things we happened to be working on), even as recently as this past week. I can remember much of the last text exchange we had, and I suppose I won't ever forget it now. I'm glad we got the chance to hang out in person when Camel Audio was at NAMM 2007.
My condolences to his family in this difficult time.

I thought I was seeing things when I read the subject line.
Not only was he a talented musician and programmer, but he seemed like a very genuine and kind person. He will be missed greatly.

Oh my god, this is shockingly bad news.
I "knew" Tim for even longer than KVR, due to his Atari site, which is quite famous. And I even just mailed him a few days back with some Atari questions.
A really friendly and helpful fellow.
Craig, thanks for the kind words. I'm sure your brother will be remembered here for a long time to come. My sincere condolences to you and your family.
Bye bye, Tim, you'll be missed!

Like so many here, I did not know Mr. Conrardy personally, but was priviliged to exchange e-mails with him a couple times and converse with him a little bit on the CN Fractal Music newsgroup. It's not likely he'd remember me, but I'll never forget him.
I can't add to what has already been said about his talent as a sound designer as he was truly a master. I'd just like his family and friends to know that I'm as big a fan of his music as his design work. I always looked forward to a TC 'space music' post and he never disappointed. With ease he created the type of music I'm always hearing in my head but am never able to produce. I have a profound respect (and a little bit of envy) for the legacy he so willingly shared with us.
May Mr. Conrardy's loved ones find peace during this difficult time.
