wow, tim was one of the very few individuals on this forum where I would get a certain "feeling" when he showed up and posted in a thread. A certain presence and celebrity status that I would have an instant respect for. Now there seems to be a bit of a hole...

RIP Tim

Wow, this is terribly shocking. I knew Tim personally... Not particularly well, but we live pretty close to each other. He has been over to my house to play with my gear and talk shop. We've spent several Analogue Heaven Bay Area user group meets together, chatting about synths and other topics. In person, he always struck me as a very genuine individual, laid back and happy-go-lucky, someone who loved life and loved music, always with a positive attitude. You should have seen the playful gleam in his eye when he was feeding a circuit-bent toy through his EML modular! Also, many of you may not know this, but he was quite an accomplished musician on a technical level. He blew me away on several occasions by picking up a guitar and shredding like the best of them, and his keyboard technique was even more impressive.

I just can't imagine never having the opportunity to talk to him again. I always got the impression that he had a deep spiritual side, although I don't know what form that took. I hope you at peace Tim, wherever you are.

Hi all,

this makes me very sad, even if I had hardly personal contact with him except some mails regarding the Camelaudio plugins.

But since I started with "computer aided" music his name popped up in every corner of the community and I found his patches in almost every softsynth that I put my fingers on.

Deepest sympathy to his family and his friends.

Wow....wow....wow....

Really stunned to hear this.

Tim represented the very best of this place and what happened in the VST world.

Got to meet him once at NAMM and he was a super cool guy....full of enthusiasm and creativity.

We were just reminicing together about missing Alan Strange and discussing his legacy not very long ago. Seems so odd to be talking the same way about Tim now. :-(

Life is so precious.....I'm reminded of the importance to enjoy every minute.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Blessings,

Eric Persing

Tim, you made sure you won't be forgotten. Your contributions to the music production scene will live in the music of many. So sad to know your path ends here but your footprints will remain.

My deepest regards to the ones left behind.

Oh no...

I'll offer a prayer for Tim and the Conrardy family for sure. Tim was the kindest person on KvR. Mighty lover of sound, music, and all elements of making same using computers. To say I will miss him just doesn't do it justice.

I haven't used many synths that don't have some of his presets in, he made a big mark on the scene and will be missed :(

I was shocked and saddened to read this news. Deepest condolences, and if there's anything we can do, let us know.

That's so very sad, my sympathy and condolences to family and friends of this obviously talented and nice person.

My sincere condolensces to Tim's family.

I just recently purchased the Nebula synth and was really impressed by it - It has some of the most beautiful sounds ever, and it really showed they were made by someone who loved his craft.

There seemed to be a theme of stars and space in Tim's work, and no doubt he has gone beyond all of the beautiful stars, galaxies and constellations to an even more beautiful place.

I was just near the Mojave Desert area (Las Vegas) this past weekend and remember looking up and noticing how clear the stars were these past two nights.

A very sad time for us on earth.
He may have passed from our sight here on earth, but he will live on in a better place. We have only to look up at the night sky or listen to the beautiful sounds he designed to remember him.
