I see taht e-Drummist mentions that there's information within another thread, and there definitely is information here and there but I wondered if it would be better to have a dedicated thread.
This is self-serving, of course, since I've got a TD-9SX set on the way. I'd really like to see what I can use out of what I've got and what is currently offered by SR, and how to set those things up.
Squids - is there a central resource for this? Will my TD-9 handle what needs to be handled for Infinite Player kits? Since Ocean Way DL, etc, was released I would also like information on how easy those would be to use with my kit that's coming? I will probably upgrade the hi-hat to a V11 later but assume for now the TD-9 module/kit if you don't mind. I'm sure I'm not the only one who "settled" for the mid-tier set. The "X" version does have the dual-zone mesh toms, so hopefully that does the fancy Ocean Way stuff you mention in another thread.
Thanks! Hope this takes off and helps others.

Well you can always use the GM map too. We're working on enhanced maps for all sorts of other e-Drums including different V-Drum models. But OWD's MT kits (not the stereo btw) were designed mainly to work with the TD20 kit. That's not to say it can't work with the others with a bit of tweaking on both sides which you have to do a bit anyway since each set up (especially hi hat) varies from one to the next. The manual goes over detailed tips on this.

Hi buscemi,
I love the idea of a permanent thread dedicated to V-Drummers who are Sonic Reality customers. Good thinking!

Once I get at least the a la carte Ocean Way I'll RTFM and post my results with the TD-9 module. Definitely correct about needing to tweak for each module/kit anyway as they are indeed all a touch different. I think that if enough V-Drummers in the "middle tier" get hooked on Ocean Way and IP it would be good to discuss here.

We're working on a test V-Drum map for the Sonor kit if any of you want to beta test when it is ready. It will also preview a NEW enhanced script with built-in effects, aux sends and all sorts of bells and whistles. Anyone who was in the Infinite Studio Group Buy or bought Drum Masters or even just bought the JB Sonor Kit can be a beta tester of it before its released. Just respond to this thread if you have a V-Drum kit and want to try it out.

Hey Squids, I have the JB Sonar Kit and would be interested in Beta testing. My V-drums are the TDK-3. Not the big guys but I'm sure there are a lot of them out there.Squids wrote:We're working on a test V-Drum map for the Sonor kit if any of you want to beta test when it is ready.
