This thread, including the many accounts of how Tim has touched peoples lives speaks volumes about him. It was very moving to read his brothers post, and that he'd gained some comfort from what he's read here. I've emailed his wife Diane to let her know about the condolences on this thread.
I've put a piece up with some information about Tim, including a photo, a brief history of his sound design career and links to a few of his tunes:

Wow. Um. Speechless.
I remember Tim's patience and kindness. In particular, I recall his dealings with a particularly tricky vendor. Everyone else was irritated, annoyed and increasingly impatient. Tim was reasoned, calm, positive and came across as the nicest person imagineable, despite the circumstances.
Tim: you'll be missed, and I'll use your presets with a massive pang and a weight in my heart forever more.

Anger is a sublimated desire for control.

I'm glad our little Kvr thread could have contributed to lessen, even a tiny bit, the pain and burden of Tim's family.
Thanks for the site's page, Ben.
Condolences again to his family, friends and all coworkers.

RIP Tim
I have turned many times to his great presets for inspiration in my music.

I wasn't online all weekend. This is the first I've heard of this. Don't know what to say.
Thanks for the inspiration, TC.

An another note to add:
im sure some fo you will find it pathetic, and sure im not the right person to say clever things here [if any anybody can say anything clever when this happens], but
i hope everyone realises a whole generation of home, vst-user producer grew up in the past years and there are just a veryfew if any people in the electronic music scene who havent heard his work.
just a thought to add.

I am shocked to hear this. I had the pleasure of meeting Tim at the NAMM show a few years ago. I remember him as a very enthusiastic gentleman, and he was one of the first to see a very early prototype of Synplant which he encouraged me to develop further.
I received an e-mail from him just a month ago where he mentioned that he was getting better from having had some issues with his health recently. I had no idea it was this serious. Life just ain't fair.
My deepest condolences to his nearest and dearest.

Tim is one of the great souls of this community. Always ready to help others, to share his gifts, and make our lives better through his beautiful music and creations. God bless you, Tim. My prayers go out to your family and friends.

Sad news. I never met the man, only communicated with him over email a few times. A very helpful, civil fellow. Condolences to his family.

I think we should have a new thread where users (under the KVR Forum Index)can post synth patches remembering Tim Conrardy. I'm sure he would like something like that, everyone here even just post 1 or 2 presets. Get designing in memory of Tim! Then they could all be collected up and placed in the 'Patches' download section of KVR as the 'Tim Conrardy Memorial Preset Bank'. As many KVR users as possible should contribute - anything goes!!!
I have posted this also under Instruments and Sound Design (Sorry! mods - but I think its a really nice idea)
